1 Hospitalized After Shooting At Pottstown Wawa: Reports

An investigation is ongoing after the incident in the parking lot Monday morning, according to officials.

POTTSTOWN, PA — One person was shot outside of a Wawa in Pottstown on Monday morning, according to local authorities and multiple media reports.

The incident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. at the store on East High Street.

The individual shot was not involved in the altercation, police told WFMZ. The gunfire reportedly stemmed from a domestic dispute over the weekend.

6ABC reports that one person was airlifted to Jefferson Hospital in unknown condition. One person was detained for questioning, although no suspects have been arrested, Fox29 reports.

The parking lot has been shut down as the investigation continues.
