BOYERTOWN, PA — The community has rallied in a big way following the death of 2019 Boyertown HS graduate Justin King.
King, 18, was found dead early Saturday morning after apparently falling down a rocky ledge near Bloomsburg Unviersity, where he was a freshman.
A GoFundMe campaign was quickly launched in his name. In the span of a day, it more than doubled its original goal of raising $5,000 for King's family and his funeral expenses.

As of Tuesday afternoon, more than $11,200 had been raised from 384 donors.
King was reportedly a business administration major, according to a Pottstown Mercury report.

He was found early Saturday by a walker on the Bloomsburg Walking Trail near a group of residences, the Columbia County coroner's office said.
An investigation is ongoing.
