Police are offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who can help identify the suspect in a homicide that occurred in Amity Township on Route 422.
The incident occurred on Saturday, August 6 when police said a 28-year-old man was shot and killed at about 9 p.m. in Birdsboro. The incident occurred on 640 Benjamin Franklin Highway.
"We are working around the clock to find out who committed this heinous act," Amity Police Chief Andrew J. Kensey said.

Police have identified a suspect who they say is a black male in his early 30's with light facial hair, black cargo shorts, a black t-shirt, and white Nike sneakers. He is driving a white Nissan van, likely a later model.
