20-Year-Old Struck In North Coventry Hit And Run: Cops

POTTSTOWN, PA — A local 20-year-old was hit by a car that fled the scene Sunday morning, police said.

The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23 on the 400 block of East Schuylkill Road.

The victim was walking east on the south side of the road when he was hit by a red Toyota Camry from behind, according to authorities. The Camry then continued heading eastbound without stopping.

No further description of the vehicle in question was provided. It may have damage to its right side.

The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries in the incident and was taken by Goodwill Ambulance to Pottstown Hospital.
