A local 20-year-old was hit by a car that fled the scene Sunday morning, police said.

POTTSTOWN, PA — A local 20-year-old was hit by a car that fled the scene Sunday morning, police said.
The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23 on the 400 block of East Schuylkill Road.
The victim was walking east on the south side of the road when he was hit by a red Toyota Camry from behind, according to authorities. The Camry then continued heading eastbound without stopping.

The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries in the incident and was taken by Goodwill Ambulance to Pottstown Hospital.
