3 Injured After Weekend Crash Shuts Down Route 100 In Pottstown
One of the victims had reportedly pulled over to help others when he was struck.
POTTSTOWN, PA — At least three people were injured in a crash in Pottstown over the weekend that shut down Route 100 and caused additional traffic on nearby Route 422, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at around 11:13 a.m. Saturday on Route 100 near King Street.
Circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, but vehicles were traveling in the northbound lanes when they became involved in an accident.

WFMZ reports that a "Good Samaritan" pulled over to help them, and he was then struck as well.
The injuries were described in that report as minor. Authorities said only that three individuals had been hospitalized.

No criminal charges are expected.
Route 100 was shut down in the northbound direction as the accident was cleared.
