Agora Cyber Charter School Announces New CEO

Dr. Chadwick M. Antonio has been named CEO of the school effective immediately

King of Prussia, PA (March 10, 2015) — At its most recent meeting, the Board of Trustees for Agora Cyber Charter School unanimously voted to name the school’s current Director of Achievement, Dr. Chadwick M. Antonito, as Chief Executive Officer.

Board President Mary Steffey said, “Dr. Antonio has been a part of the Agora family for several years now, and has a strong track record of leadership. He has a vested interest in our school’s mission and vision, and pledges to continue the momentum and progress Agora has made as a leader in cyber education.”

In 2012, Dr. Antonio joined Agora as the Director of Achievement. In this role he has helped drive Agora student success by establishing comprehensive student and parent engagement plans. Prior to his position with Agora, Dr. Antonio worked with several Pennsylvania school districts, charter schools and Neumann University during his 15-year career in education. He received both his Masters and Doctorate from St. Joseph’s University and has dedicated his life to public education as a teacher, administrator, principal and professor.

Paul DeAngelo, who was named acting CEO & CFO in December will resume his role of CFO, a post he has held with the school since October 2014.
