An Amber Alert has been issued for a Luzerne County girl who was last seen just after midnight on Friday in Nescopeck, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Ava Byrne, 3, has brown hair and was wearing only a diaper the last time she was seen. Her last known location was Vine Street in Nescopeck, police said.

Police suspect she was abducted by Robert Byrne, 24, a white male who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 215 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Police are looking for a silver 2004 Hyundai Elantra, with PA license plate number HKB-4681.

Anyone with information about the abduction should immediately contact the police by calling 911.
