NORTH COVENTRY, PA — A stretch Route 724 is shut down into November as PECO utility construction work gets underway, authorities said.
The road's eastbound lanes will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.
The shut down will be in place from Hanover Street to Keim Street.
Work is scheduled to continue from May 25 through Nov. 2.
A detour will take drivers to Hanover Street, U.S. 422, and Keim Street.
Local access will be maintained throughout the work project.
