Tree Destroys Pottstown Home, Community Rallies To Support Family (patch.com) — A powerful May 20 storm toppled a massive oak tree onto Shirley and Todd Wolf’s Pottstown home, destroying the house but sparing Shirley from injury. Neighbors and friends have launched a GoFundMe to help the family with temporary housing, food, and extensive repairs, and are urging Pottstown residents to pitch in as recovery begins.
3. Trees Keep Overtaking Sidewalks In Pottstown (patch.com) — Downtown Pottstown sidewalks along the zero and 100 blocks of High Street will be rebuilt after tree roots caused significant damage, thanks to a new $152,505 Montco 2040 grant.
