The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is investigating, while hundreds of community members have rallied behind the Pysher family, donating tens of thousands of dollars through an online fundraiser.
• Penn College announces its Summer 2026 graduates (pct.edu) — Two Pottstown residents, Kylie L. Crowell and Patrick D. Moore, are among Pennsylvania College of Technology's Summer 2026 graduates, earning associate degrees in surgical technology and radiography. They join dozens of students from across Pennsylvania and beyond who completed programs in health care, trades, and technical fields. Their new credentials could soon translate into in‑demand skills at local hospitals and clinics.
• Dolly Parton's program provides free books for children in Philly region (inquirer.com) — Families in the Pottstown and Norristown areas are among roughly 3,500 Montgomery County children receiving free monthly books through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library since 2023. Local literacy leaders say they hope to keep expanding the beloved program in Pennsylvania, even after Parton's death, so more young readers here can grow up with books arriving right to their homes.
