2 Owen J. Roberts Students Chosen As National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists

SOUTH COVENTRY, PA — Two students from Owen J. Roberts High School have been chosen as National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, the first step in qualification for the prestigious scholarship.

If selected, the scholarship awards students $2,000 per year of college study.

A total of 16,000 students nationwide have been selected as semifinalists.

Next spring, the group will be narrowed based on their high school achievements and other factors. A rough total of 6,700 finalists will be named to win scholarships.

All students nationwide are automatically entered into consideration when they take the PSAT test.
