The group F.E.A.R. Bikers of MontCo is staging a memorial ride-out for Kirchner on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 1:45 p.m.

The group will travel together to Kirchner's favorite places, St. Pete's Inn.

"Meet us at St. Pete's Inn as we come together to remember Karl, share stories, honor his life, and ride in his memory," organizers shared. "We have reserved the outside deck. Please show The Inn the same love and patronage that Karl's biker community has always shown."

For details on the memorial ride, see here.

The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. Monday night on the I-95 South off-ramp to I-676 West in the Old City section of Philadelphia.

Kirschner struck a guardrail and was flung onto the roadway below, by 2nd and Callowhill streets. He was still wearing his motorcycle helmet when police found him.

He was brought to the hospital, where he later died. No other injuries were reported.

State police are investigating the crash.
