Fall is officially here in Pottstown, and there's no shortage of ways to make the most of it. From festivals and farmers markets to pumpkin patches, live music and other seasonal fun, October brings plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy what's happening close to home.

Where: SoulJoel's at SunnyBrook, 50 SunnyBrook Road, Pottstown
Celebrate the season close to home at Pottstown Fall Fest 2026, a community festival filled with food, art and music. Visitors can grab a bite from local food trucks, shop from vendors and artists and enjoy music and kids' face painting. Admission is $10 per person, while children 12 and under get in free, and proceeds will help support a free Halloween parade and trunk-or-treat at SunnyBrook.
When: Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, 6–9 p.m.
Where: Carousel at Pottstown and Manatawny Green Mini Golf, 30 West King Street, Pottstown
Dress in your Halloween best for the Pottstown Spooktacular Bash, a family-friendly celebration with plenty of ways to enjoy the night. Festivities include costume contests for all ages and free live music from The Fuzz Mob, with carousel rides and spooky mini golf available for purchase. Food and adult beverages will also be available for purchase, and guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair to settle in for the music.
When: Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, 9 a.m.–12 p.m.; Haunts On High continues from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Where: Smith Family Plaza, 100 East High Street, Pottstown
Get into the Halloween spirit during Halloween Fun at the FARM, when Pottstown FARM and Pottstown Community Arts team up for a seasonal celebration. Visitors can shop from FARM vendors while enjoying games, treats and other Halloween activities before Haunts on High continues the fun into the afternoon. Costumes are encouraged, with prizes planned for the funniest, cutest and scariest looks; no admission price is listed for the event.
When: Daily through Nov. 1, 2026, 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Where: Colonial Gardens, 745 Schuylkill Road, Phoenixville
Take a trip to nearby Phoenixville for Pumpkinland at Colonial Gardens, a longtime fall tradition filled with colorful displays, scarecrows and more than 10 tons of pumpkins. Families can take a $10 Enchanted Hayride or explore the Cornstalk Maze, Halloween Funhouse and Casper's Castle for $5, with a $13 combo ticket covering both experiences. Children 2 and under can participate for free with a paid adult, while separately ticketed haunted attractions are offered on select October nights.
When: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1, 2026; hours vary by day
Where: Poplar Road and Edgehill Road, Boyertown
Head to nearby Boyertown for an autumn outing at Frecon Farms, where visitors can pick apples and pumpkins while enjoying plenty of activities around the orchard. Guests over age 5 must purchase a picking option or $12 Orchard Pass to enter, while a $10 Pumpkin Patch Pass can be applied toward a pumpkin purchase at checkout. Admission options include tractor wagon rides, live music, kids' play areas, yard games and photo opportunities, with seasonal food, treats and an apple cannon available for an additional cost.
