Armed Robbery In Pottstown On Halloween Night

POTTSTOWN, PA — Police said that there was an armed robbery on Halloween night in Pottstown.

The incident occurred at around 8:59 p.m. at the Rite Aid on High and Evans streets.

The suspect wore a mask over his face and brandished a handgun at the pharmacy, where he demanded Percocets, authorities said.

He then fled the store, heading east on Apple Alley.

He is being described as a black male with a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and Timberland style tan boots, according to police.

A $5,000 reward is being offered by Rite Aid for the suspect's capture and prosecution.
