Barricade Situation Resolved In Montgomery County: Reports

UPPER POTTSGROVE, PA — An armed man who reportedly barricaded himself a local home has been taken into custody.

The incident started at around 9 a.m. on the 1300 block of Meadowview Drive in Upper Pottsgrove Tuesday, according to authorities.

6ABC first reported a male suspect refused to come out of the home.

Reports later clarified that the suspect let three adults leave the home, but kept his five-year-old child there with him.

SWAT negotiators were able to get the man to come out shortly thereafter. The child was never harmed, according to WFMZ.

There is no word of any injuries.
