The world of abstract can take many forms and this show seeks to encompass a range of artistic styles and mediums to celebrate the wide breadth of intentions and expressions.
These are artists who have declared their independence from portraying reality in favor of creating abstract art that focuses the emphasis on the essential elements of line, shape, color, form, and gestural marks. Their aims are to achieve unique visual expressions of intensity and rhythmic effects.
This is a language that can be bold or lyrical, structured or loose, brightly colored or quietly muted, cryptic or dazzling; the beauty is that it is often whatever you want it to be, and that may vary from creator and to each individual viewer.
When engaging with such works viewers are encouraged to contemplate the meaning, ask the thought-provoking questions, as well as employ their imagination to achieve an extraordinary understanding of such art.

Keystone Villa at Douglassville invites the public to our fun-filled <a href="https://www.keystonevillaatdouglassville.com/event/community-day-and-car-show/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">fourth annual Community Day and Car Show</a> on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at 1152 and 1180 Ben Franklin Highway E. This event is rain or shine! 
Our free family-friendly event includes a car and bike show with antiques, classics, and customs on display. Enjoy other activities, including a basket raffle, 50/50, music, shopping with our vendors and crafters, face painting, and a pet adoption event. Food trucks will be on-site selling refreshments. Proceeds from the event benefit local fire and police departments.

Fully restored from 2018-2025 and features rooms decorated in different styles spanning the Rococo Revival to the Aesthetic Movement to the Edwardian period, the Museum was awarded the Victorian Society in America Award for the exemplary restoration and rehabilitation. This landmark preserves the legacy of the Grundy family and offers visitors a unique glimpse into life during the Victorian Era. The Museum’s extensive collection is highly unusual for a historic house museum as almost all the items belonged to the Grundy family. The museum serves as a cultural destination for those interested in antiques, local history, and architecture. Docents take visitors through the meticulously restored rooms, showcasing the elaborate furnishings and sharing stories of the Grundy family’s contributions to Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania, and national affairs. Visitors can also enjoy the expansive gardens and riverfront vistas. Visit throughout the year for special programs, exhibits, and holiday events, including the annual Victorian Holiday House.
