Chestnut Knoll Collects 159 Pounds of Food for Preston’s Pantry

Chestnut Knoll residents, staff, and families come together to support local neighbors in need through a generous September food drive.

Throughout the month of September, residents, staff, and families at Chestnut Knoll came together to collect food for Preston’s Pantry at the Boyertown Area Multi-Service. Their generosity resulted in an impressive 159 pounds of food donated to help support local individuals and families in need.

The food was delivered to Boyertown Area Multi-Service by members of the Chestnut Knoll community. Joining the group was Gail, a resident of Chestnut Knoll and one of the founding members of Boyertown Area Multi-Service. Her participation made the delivery a special full-circle moment as she visited with Executive Director Bob Varga and saw firsthand the continued impact of an organization she helped establish.

Chestnut Knoll’s very own mayor, Ernie, also joined the group for the delivery, adding to a memorable day filled with community spirit, gratitude, and hometown pride.
