Culinary Arts Students take on the Grumpy's Chopped Challenge

Congratulations go out to Keelan Warren and Isaiah Robinson for winning the 2nd Annual Chopped competition in Culinary Arts!

Gene and Sheila Dugan of Grumpy’s in Pottstown conduct this challenge by bringing in a set amount of ingredients that the students must use to create a specific dish.  This year it included a pork chop, goat cheese, cherry preserves, and ciabatta bread and students were directed to make a sandwich within a specific amount of time.  The 5 anonymous entries were judged by Grumpy, Dr. Jeff Sparagana, Superintendent of Schools  and Dr. Jeff  Hartmann High School Principal. A big thank you to Gene and Sheila Dugan, owners of Grumpy's because of their partnership our students were able to use their classroom skills in a real life experience.
