Two Men Are Being Sought In Connection With Pottstown Killing Of Robert Stiles
Montgomery County prosecutors are looking for two Philadelphia men said to be involved in a Pottstown killing. A reward is being offered.

POTTSTOWN, PA — Authorities in Montgomery County have announced they are offering a $5,000 reward leading to the capture of two Philadelphia men who they say were involved in the shooting death of a man on East High Street in the borough late last month.
Samir Bentley, 20, and Ahmed Mohammed, 16, both city residents, are facing first-degree murder charges for the killing of Robert Stiles in Pottstown on Oct. 23.
The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is offering $2,500 rewards for each Bentley and Mohammed, who investigators say killed Stiles during a robbery incident, one that was caught on numerous surveillance videos.

Stiles was found the morning of Oct. 23 lying on the sidewalk and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at Reading Hospital.
Authorities said video showed Mohammed pulling Stiles into an area in front of 429 E. High Street, before the two were approached by Bentley and Daijon Harrison (who is in police custody).

Harrison ended up pulling a gun from his waistband and handing it to Bentley, who shot Stiles three times, according to the prosecutor's office.
The three men were then seen discarding a clear plastic bag and running to a dark-colored minivan. The plastic bag was later found to contain multiple ounces of marijuana, police said.
"These two defendants went looking for the victim and when they found him, they shot him dead, using a firearm that neither man was legally allowed to possess," Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said in a statement. "This is a chilling murder, and we need to get them off the street and behind bars."
Bentley is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, while Mohammed is said to be 5 feet, 3 inches tall weighing approximately 120 pounds, also with brown hair and brown eyes.
Both men are considered to be armed and dangerous, and if members of the public encounter them they are urged to stay away from the two and immediately call 911.
Anyone with information about the location of the two men can contact the Pottstown Police Department at 610-970-6570 or the Montgomery County Detectives at 610-226-5553.
