(Pottstown Pennsylvania) –On Thursday, November 16, 2017, Greater Pottstown SHRM (“GPS”) hosted Jason Reisman, Labor and Employment Law Attorney, Partner at Blank Rome LLP who provided information on recent hot topics in Human Resources and employment law. Reisman reviewed the current administration and upcoming changes.
Greater Pottstown SHRM holds monthly meetings focused on educating local professionals involved in the field of Human Resources. Most meetings are approved for SHRM and/or HRCI continuing education credits. The group typically meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at Brookside Country Club in Pottstown PA.
The next meeting will be held on December 14, 2017 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Ben Allatt, Vice President of JFC Medical, Vice President of Human Resources Professionals of Central PA and Deb Majer, Learning Lead for Iron Mountain’s LGBTA Employee Resource Group Education and Secretary of Greater Pottstown SHRM Board will cover LGBTQA community legislative updates and creating inclusive policies with examples. A concert will be performed by the Developmental Enterprises Corporation’s (DEC) Christmas Carolers. All professionals in the Human Resources field are welcome to attend.
