Details Vague Days After Officer-Involved Shooting In North Coventry
Questions continue to swirl after the incident Monday night, and a report that the suspect hid in a woman's house while fleeing.
NORTH COVENTRY, PA — Details remain scarce two days after authorities said that a police officer shot a civilian in North Coventry Township.
The incident occurred at around 6:51 p.m. on Monday, June 22 on the 500 block of Klein Avenue.
Police have provided no information on circumstances surrounding the shooting. However, 6ABC indicates that the man was fleeing from the Lowe's in Town Square Plaza off Pottstown Pike.

The outlet also interviewed a local resident who said the man hid in her house for a short time, exhausted and thirsty, before leaving.
The shooting occurred after he left. The condition of the man is not known.

The Chester County District Attorney's Office has not elaborated beyond stating that there is an investigation.
Chester County Detectives are leading the investigation, as they do any time there is an officer-involved shooting.
