Missing Elderly Montgomery County Man Reunited With Family

UPDATE: Police said that the missing man was found on Wednesday.

UPDATE: Thorpe has been found safe and has been reunited with his family.

POTTSTOWN, PA β€” An elderly Pottstown man has gone missing, police said on Tuesday afternoon.

Alexander Thorpe, 75, was last seen on Monday, Oct. 2 at around 5:30 p.m.

Thorpe has medical issues which must be addressed several times a week, and it is important he be located as soon as possible. He also suffers from signs of dementia, police said.

Thorpe is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 180s pounds, and has brown eyes and graying brown hair.

He was last seen driving a black Acura RL with Pennsylvania license plate number DXA-8526.

When he left his home, he was wearing a black spring jacket, a flannel shirt, jeans, and a black hat, police said. He also wears glasses.
