Chestnut Knoll At Home Services, Phoenixville, to Hold AARP Refresher Driver Course

Community members will soon get the opportunity to refresh their driving skills. Chestnut Knoll At Home Services, Phoenixville, will hold an American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Refresher Driver Course on April 26 from 10 a.m.–2:30 p.m. at Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust, 533 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, Pa.

 

Ed Petersohn, AARP Advocacy, Driver Safety Program, will run the refresher course. Anyone who has taken a driver improvement course in the past will be admitted to the refresher course. The certificate received is good for three years and is generally associated with a discount on insurance (contact your insurance agent for details).

The cost of the course for AARP members, with proof of membership, is $12 per person. The cost for non-members is $14 per person. All participants must bring their AARP membership card (if applicable), certificate from initial course and a valid driver’s license. The event includes continental breakfast and lunch, courtesy of Chestnut Knoll At Home Services.
