All Clear Given After Gas Line Ruptured In Lower Pottsgrove
The shelter in place has been lifted and roads have reopened following a the rupture of a high pressure gas line in Lower Pottsgrove.

LOWER POTTSGROVE, PA — A high-pressure gas line was struck and ruptured in Lower Pottsgrove Monday morning, leading to a temporary shelter in place order as the situation was resolved.
By early afternoon, all roads were re-opened and the area was declared safe.
The incident occurred at Steeplechase Lane near the intersection with Spring Valley Lane.

PECO crews and other contractors remained on scene working on final repairs into the afternoon.
The shelter in place impacted residents on Deer Ridge Drive and in the Spring Valley Farms Development. Residents there were briefly told to close all windows and doors.

In addition, Bleim Road was shut down between N. Pleasantview Road and New Hanover Road.
Gas and electrical service to Met-Ed customers in the area may be impacted in the short term.
