Heavy Fire Battled At Pottstown Home

POTTSTOWN, PA — Crews battled heavy flames at a home in Pottstown Thursday afternoon.

The incident began at around 3:31 p.m. at a home on the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue, near N. Warren Street.

Flames and large plumes of black smoke were coming from the front of the residence.

It's not yet clear what caused the fire or if there are any injuries.

The Pottstown Fire Department was assisted by crews from multiple neighboring municipalities at the scene.
