Hot Air Balloon Lands In Montgomery County: Report

At least 17 people rushed to help the balloon land safely in a quiet neighborhood over the weekend.

A hot air balloon reportedly made a surprising landing in a Montgomery County community over the weekend.

NBC Philadelphia first reported that the balloon came down in the middle of the road in a quiet Gilbertsville neighborhood at about 7 p.m. Sunday night.

Apparently around 17 people helped the balloon safely coast to a nearby intersection, where it could be deflated, the report said.

It's not yet clear why the balloon chose to land there.

No injuries were reported.
