Lightning Delays Big Dawgz From Advancing In Regional

RADNOR - With Norchester leading Wissahickon 6-0 in an elimination game, as the teams took the field in the top half of the sixth inning, Mother Nature unleashed her fury with evenly spaced lightning strikes that forced Lapas to postpone the conclusion of the game until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Radnor High School.

The stoppage of play derailed a great pitching performance by Ben Condello who allowed no runs and only four hits in five innings while fanning four.

The game will resume where it left off, the loser goes home for the summer and the winner will advance to play winner one of Tuesday’s game.
