Looking for Live Music ?

While Pottstown -- for now -- is not known for a bustling music scene, these venues are great places to hear live entertainment.

The Brick House:, 152 High Street, is a bar and restaurant that offers live music including DJ's spinning dance parties. The Brick House is open seven days a week and offers specials for lunch and dinner. It's unique building was constructed in the 1800's around a massive vault.

Sportsters: A spacious bar found at 1701 Pottstown Pike (Route 100), Sportsters offers live music on Friday and Saturday. Sportsters also serves 35 cent wings on Monday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and offers River Chasers Poker at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pourhouse: Located behind Little Italy and down the street from the Hill School at 663 High Street, Pourhouse has live entertainment Friday and Saturday and happy hour seven days a week from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Specials on Friday and Saturday include $3 Guinness and Smithwick's pints on Friday and $5 bombs on Saturday.

Cutillo's: Cutillo's has live entertainment on Friday night, and their "Sentimental Saturdays" includes nostalgic music in the restaurant's lounge by harpist   The unique entertainment begins Saturdays at 5 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.  Cutillo's is in Sanatoga at 2688 East High Street.
