Man Captured Thursday In Fatal Pottstown Stabbing: DA

Police said they received a tip on the man's whereabouts within 15 minutes of posting a $1,000 reward.

POTTSTOWN, PA — Police have captured the man who they said stabbed a victim to death inside his bedroom in Pottstown on Wednesday.

Ryan Grace, 37, has been charged with first degree murder in the stabbing killing of Shaquille Kare Nicholas, 33.

Police said that Grace, a homeless person living in the Pottstown area, was taken into custody within 15 minutes of the posting of a $1,0000 reward.

Detectives said they were almost instantly given "information about where (Grace) was hiding."

Police said Grace stabbed Nicholas following an argument inside the bedroom of Nicholas's home at around 2 p.m. Wednesday, on the 300 block of Walnut Street.

Grace was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility with no bail. He is currently awaiting arraignment.
