Man Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight In Pottstown: DA
Witnesses held the shooter held until police arrived, authorities said.

POTTSTOWN, PA — A man was shot and killed in broad daylight in Pottstown Wednesday afternoon, and the suspected shooter is in custody, police said.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear.
The incident occurred at 12:09 p.m. on South Hanover Street at Security Plaza, near the railroad tracks.

The suspect, who has only been identified as a man, shot the victim twice "at close range," the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said.
Witnesses to the shooting captured the shooter and held him until police arrived, authorities said.
