Man Strangled Woman At Pottstown Area Hotel: Cops
The man choked the woman from behind until she blacked out, police said.
LOWER POTTSGROVE, PA — A man strangled a woman at a local hotel, causing her to black out, according to authorities.
The incident occurred on Thursday, March 21 at the Days Inn, located on 1600 Industrial Avenue.
Roy Eugene Evans, 49, came up on his victim from behind inside a room and grabbed her by the neck, police said.

Authorities did not say what led to the confrontation.
A warrant was put out for Evans, and he was arrested on Tuesday, April 2.

He was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
He faces charges of strangulation, simple assault, and harassment.
