Massive Fight At Pottsgrove HS; 7 Students Detained: Cops
The fight included a "large number of students" and resulted in a school resource officer being kicked in the face, police said.

A massive fight at Pottsgrove High School on Wednesday morning resulted in seven students being detained and a school resource officer being injured, police said.
The incident occurred at around 10:41 am. outside of the cafeteria, as students were getting off the Western Center morning vo-tech bus, according to authorities. The cafeteria was being dimissed from lunch at the same time.
It's not clear exactly what sparked the incident, but a "large number" of students were involved, and multiple fights were ongoing, police said.

All told, seven students were detained, and one teen was arrested and taken to juvenile probation, authorities said.
A school resource officer who was trying to break up the fight was kicked in the face and sustained an injury to his hand, according to police. No serious injuries were reported to any students or staff during the incident.

Lower Pottsgrove Police were joined by police from Upper and West Pottsgrove to help establish order.
Additional security was set up during further lunches on Wednesday.
Police said that additional charges will be filed on other students involved in the fight.
