MCCC President Recognizes Business Community for University Center Involvement
Karen A. Stout spoke to TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce last week about partnering with local business to open the University Center in Pottstown earlier this month.

Montgomery County Community College President Karen A. Stout attended TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce's inaugural program-year membership breakfast on Sept. 13, to speak about the role the business community can play in higher education, Montgomery News reported.
MCCC partnered with developer Vesper Property Group to rehabilitate a vacant building near MCCC's West Campus, which eventually became the University Center in Pottstown earlier this month. The building now hosts classroom and administrative space for adult students striving for four-year and Master's degrees.
"Without community partners, we would not be where we are at the West Campus," Stout told the chamber of commerce members.
