Montco Community College To Host Recycling Event For Earth Day
Montgomery County Community College will hold an electronics recycling event in recognition of Earth Day next week.

POTTSTOWN, PA — Montgomery County Community College will hold an electronics recycling event in recognition of Earth Day next week.
The event will take place on Monday, April 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Members of the community should bring electronics to the MCCC Sustainability and Innovation Hub on 140 College Drive in Pottstown.
There will also be a farm stand, book swap, and hydroponics demonstration, along with other environmentally oriented activities, at 140 College Drive and in the lobby of South Hall, at 101 College Drive.

Some items can be recycled for free, others have a fee.

"Items that can be recycled free of charge include desktop and laptop computers, DVD players, VCRs, keyboards and mice, gaming systems, printers, fax machines, strands of Christmas lights, cables, cords, microwaves, small appliances, cell phone and laptop batteries, metal items, calculators, adding machines, exercise equipment, UPS battery backups, car batteries (sealed lead acid), toner and ink cartridges, bed frames, rain spouting, audio visual equipment, filing cabinets, telephones and cell phones."
