Montgomery County To Open Pottstown-Focused Prosecuting Unit
Montgomery County announced Friday that they are opening a Pottstown-focused prosecuting unit.

Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele announced Friday that the office would soon be opening up a Pottstown-focused prosecuting unit.
The new unit will improve the county's crime-fighting initiatives and efforts to improve quality of life while working closely with local community leaders and law enforcement.
Steele was joined by Pottstown Police Chief Richard Drumheller, Mayor Sharon Valentine Thomas, and other dignitaries Friday morning as he made the announcement on Pottstown's Borough Hall steps.

In June, it was announced that the Montgomery County Public Defender would open a new, separate office in Pottstown as well.
