New Goodwill Store Opens In Pottstown
The new discount thrift store, with a focus on giving back to the community, held its grand opening Thursday.
POTTSTOWN, PA — A new Goodwill store has opened up in Pottstown.
The grand opening of the store in Pottstown Plaza was held on Thursday morning.
"Don't forget to bring your gently used items to donate," Goodwill shared in an opening announcement. "Our convenient donation center helps support local employment programs, transforming lives right in Montgomery County.

The new store will bring 32 new jobs to the community, officials said.
The Goodwill is part of a new life for the plaza, which is seeing multiple storefronts renovated and reopened.

The first 100 customers received a free Goodwill bag Thursday.
"We can’t wait to see you there and explore the treasures together," the store added. "Your support helps us advance sustainability and create job opportunities in our community."
Pottstown Plaza is located on 799 N. State Street.
