One person has been reported injured after shots were fired in Pottstown in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Pottstown, PA -- One person has been reported injured after shots were fired in Pottstown early Wednesday morning.
Police said that the incident occurred at about 12:50 a.m. near Chestnut Street and Rowan Alley.
The victim was admitted to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center with a single gunshot wound,the Pottstown Mercury reported.

The victim reportedly said that he was walking near Chestnut and Rowan when he heard gunfire, and that he began running when he realized he'd been hit.
