Owen J. Roberts Teacher Arrested For Sexual Assault Of Student

POTTSTOWN, PA — A former teacher at Owen J. Roberts High School has been charged with institutional sexual assault of a student. The school district announced the arrest in a statement emailed to parents on Friday.

Melissa Bonkoski, 38, of Stowe, faces eight felony charges in total, including three counts of institutional sexual assault.

Bonkoski has since resigned from the district, according to 6ABC.

Further details of the case were not immediately available.

A preliminary hearing for Bonkoski has been set for Aug. 17, court documents show.
