Pan fishing River Front Park

If you are looking to pan fish I would recommend fishing along the banks of the park.

I caught plenty of bluegills, red bellies,  pumpkin seeds and bass. I recommend using corn or worms to catch these fish using the smallest hooks you have. I use size 6 snell hooks.

A simple float or bobber with a swivel to attach your hooks is all you need or tie your hook to your main line works well also. Weights is not needed as you are only casting out to about 5 feet. Thats how far I went out to catch the fish.

Be aware of your surrounding as it is an active park with joggers, walkers and bicyclists.

Make sure you have a fishing license and obey Pennsylvania fishing laws and regulations. Park is open dust till dawn keep that in mind when you go there,

Happy angling and post pictures of your catch.
