Pottsgrove Class of 2011: History In The Making
The class was one of the most astounding groups to walk the school's halls. Here are some favorite memories:
• The core group -- of Mika Polamalu, Terrell Chestnut, Tyler Wysochanski, Dan Foust, Kayvon Greene, Devon Greene, Zach Robinson, Chris Nester, Macey Dalton and more -- winning the 2010 PIAA District One class AAA championship for the first time in school history.
• The first Pac10 basketball championship since 1987 when Vince Quigley and company defeated Spring-Ford to win the title in 2010
• The first appearance by the Lady Falcons softball team in the District One class AAA championship game and a runner up medal.

• The absolutely breathtaking job that Matt Zarley, Courtney Daniels, Dan Pettine, Nicole Messina and company did on the production of Elton John’s Aida. Victor Holladay, Cindy Faust and their outstanding group of seniors have set the bar high for future productions.
• The Class of 2011 winning the 50th anniversary of color day and becoming the first class in school history to win back-to-back years.

• Wrestlers Chris Nester winning at districts and Tyler Wysochanski, Zach Robinson and T. J. Demetrio reaching southeastern regionals and states. To have two men reach the 100-win plateau out of one class is remarkable as T. J. Demetrio won his 100th victory at sectionals held at Pottsgrove and Zach Robinson set a new career school record with 126 wins.
• The amazing field show put on by the Falcons Marching Band, the Monopoly show will be a hard act to follow. The senior lead color guard and band were outstanding at every game and performance.
• Senior Victoria Remelius qualifying to play at the All American Bowl in Texas as one of the top 125 musicians in the country in marching band and her assembly put on by the Army band honoring her.
• Seniors Lauren Purdom, Steph Musil and Lauren Robinson setting the example for the new ladies golf team and actually competing in a full varsity schedule for the first time in school history. Congratulations ladies, on establishing a new standard for others to follow.
• The Falcon Cheerleaders competing for the first time, led by seniors Rachel Harpster, Tara Povish, Steph Diener and more. Great job ladies.
