POTTSTOWN, PA — Looking for a perfect volunteer activity near Memorial Day? Help clean up the overgrown Edgewood Cemetery with your neighbors next weekend.
Joe Ciresi, a longtime Spring-Ford Area School Board director and Democratic candidate for state representative in the 146th district, is organizing the event.
The cemetery has been in disrepair for years, dating back to 2011, according to organizers.

Volunteers will trim the grass, pick up litter and other debris, and help restore the area's natural beauty.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 27 from 9 a.m. to noon.
