Pottstown Man Charged For Employing Undocumented Immigrants: US Attorney

A Pottstown man is facing ten years in prison after allegedly knowingly hiring undocumented immigrants to work for his company.

POTTSTOWN, PA -- A Pottstown man has been arrested and charged with employing individuals that were undocumented immigrants into the United States.

Jude Solis, 50, has been charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and misuse of visas, the US Attorney's Office Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced.

Between 2010 and 2014, Solis hired the immigrants to work for Asplundh Tree Experts Inc., officials said. They allege that Rodriguez knew they were undocumented.

Solis faces ten years in jail and a $500,000 fine for his charges, officials said.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security.
