Pottstown Middle School Locked Down Due To 'Uncooperative Adult' Wednesday
An incident involving an "uncooperative adult" led to a lock down at Pottstown Middle School on Wednesday.

POTTSTOWN, PA -- Pottstown Middle School was locked down on Wednesday afternoon due to an "uncooperative adult," school officials confirmed.
David Todd, principal of the middle school, said that no students were injured during the incidents. School officials described the situation as "potentially volatile."
"All students were safe and the staff worked professionally to resolve the matter. Although it was a temporary inconvenience, the safety of our students is of utmost importance. We thank you for your continued support," Todd said in a statement.

Parents told Patch that the incident was due to two or more parents on the school property who became agitated with one another. The school district did not elaborate on the nature of the disturbance.
Classes will resume as scheduled Thursday.
