Pottstown Police Intensify DUI Patrols

POTTSTOWN, PA - Police in Pottstown are planning to intensify their DUI patrols around the area, according to a report.

A DUI enforcement team from multiple jurisdictions in Montgomery County will join the Pottstown Police on their DUI enforcement operations, the Pottstown Mercury reported.

They hope that by reducing the number of drunk drivers on the road, they will reduce the number of alcohol-related accidents, the report states.

The team will also be working extra hard to enforce all liquor law violations, including underage drinking, and alcohol purchases by those under 21, according to the report.
