Pottstown Public Schools Closed Monday

Pottstown School District schools and offices will be closed on Monday, October 29, the district announced Sunday evening.

All extracurricular events and athletic activities have also been cancelled.

The eye of Hurricane Sandy, which is expected by then to be a post-tropical cyclone, is expected to pass somewhere through the region late Monday night or in the early overnight hours of Tuesday morning.

The district said it will announce its plans for Tuesday by 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
