Pottstown Soapbox Derby Challenge Race Gives Thrills To Children With Special Needs
Pottstown's Soapbox Derby Challenge Race lets children with special needs take the ride of their lives.

POTTSTOWN, PA — An upcoming event in the borough gives children with special needs the chance to take the ride of the their lives.
The Soapbox Derby Challenge Race will take place on Saturday, June 24 atop Wilson Street Hill, between State Street and Farmington Avenue.
The event, organized by the Pottstown American Business Club, the Tri-county Rally Association, and McDonalds, expects around 50 student drivers and passengers to race their soapboxes down Wilson Street, a neighborhood favorite.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the race at 10, lunch at noon, a second race from 1:30 to 3:30, and an awards banquet at 5 p.m.
The awards banquet will be held at Cedarville Methodist Church, located on 1092 Laurelwood Road.
