Pottstown Veterans Community Day Coming Up
Honor local veterans at the upcoming free public event, Pottstown Veterans Community Day.

POTTSTOWN, PA — Honor local veterans at the upcoming free public event, Pottstown Veterans Community Day.
The event will take place on Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Memorial Park, located on 75 W. King Street in Pottstown.
The event will kick off with a Motorcycle Ride from the American Legion in Birdsboro to Pottstown, where bikers are encouraged to decorate their bikes with patriotic pride. Attendees then vote on their favorites.

Each vote costs $1, and all proceeds go to the Veterans' Island Project.

Live music will commence at 11 a.m. with Beth Sattizahn playing the National Anthem.

The Hamilton Celtic Pipe and Drum Band will play at 11:15 a.m., followed by the Joe Kirschen Band from noon to 2 p.m., Kendal Conrad from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., and DJs Jeff and Mike from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A Kan Jam Tournament, food, a beer garden, and much more will highlight the event.
