The scoop - A plethora of missed opportunities thwarted the Steelers attempt to advance to the winner’s bracket final as they fell to Nor-Gwyn 8-3 Saturday under the lights at Sundstrom Field in Pottstown.
Pottstown left the bases loaded in their final three at bats and stranded a game total of 14 runners in the tilt, including nine in scoring position.
The Steelers finally got on the board in the sixth inning but never found the answer to 16-year-old North Penn junior Jordan Campbell.

Next on the schedule- Pottstown, which dropped to 13-9, will play 3 p.m. Sunday at Quakertown versus the host team Quakertown in an elimination game.
Meanwhile, Nor-Gwyn (11-11) will face Pennridged in the winner bracket final.
