Strong Arm Robbery Investigated In Lower Pottsgrove

Three teens threatened to harm the store clerk at a Lower Pottsgrove gas station before making off with 38 packs of cigars, police said.

LOWER POTTSGROVE, PA — Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying several suspects in a recent strong arm robbery in the area.

The incident occurred on Monday, May 29 at 5:36 p.m. at the US Gas Station, located on 2177 E. High Street.

Three black males entered the store at the station, threatened the clerk with physical force, and demanded he turn over packs of cigars. The suspects did not display guns or other weapons, but made off with 38 packs of cigars in the heist.

The trio then fled on foot.

Authorities set up a perimeter and, with the help of canine units, tracked the suspects to an open field between Coventry Christian School, Rolling Hills Development, and Pebble Beach Drive.

The suspects are all believed to be teenagers between five feet ten inches and six feet tall.
