Suspects In Pottstown Bullying-Linked Shooting Arrested

The two teenagers wanted for a shooting incident were arrested after a brief foot chase on Tuesday, police said.

POTTSTOWN, PA — The two teenagers wanted for a shooting incident that's been linked to middle school bullying were arrested after a brief foot chase on Tuesday, police said.

Makael Bevins and Ahnile Fountain, both 19-year-old Pottstown residents, are now in police custody and awaiting preliminary hearings.

The pair face attempted murder charges as well as firearms counts.

Police said the pair shot into a home on Sunday night, March 24, on the 500 block of West Street.

It's believed the shooting was connected to ongoing bullying incidents at Pottstown Middle School.
